The Town of Altona is using VISP as its internet service provider for all of its locations (Administration Office, Millennium Exhibition Centre, Fire Department, Public Works and Waste Disposal Grounds). In addition, VISP was instrumental in providing the advice and state of the art equipment to establish a reliable point-to-point communications network between all the Town’s facilities. VISP’s customer service team listened to the Town’s needs and created a service proposal to fit the Town’s situation. The changeover to VISP has allowed the Town to increase the overall quality, speed and reliability of its internet service and to reduce its telecommunications costs. In the past, certain Town facilities experienced chronically poor service from former service providers. Thanks to VISP, these issues are all in the past! VISP’s customer service team is very responsive in addressing service issues. Proactively notifying customers of potential service outages due to scheduled maintenance is just one example of how VISP separates themselves from the competition.

The difference between VISP and our previous internet provider is huge. Prior to VISP, we couldn’t have more than two devices connected to wife at the same time, and even then, our internet was crazy slow. We were told we couldn’t get anything faster, since we don’t live in Winkler.  Now with VISP we can run Netflix, our cell phones, and another device with no hiccups. Amazing. Wish I’d switched over much sooner. Plus, we got hooked up with Shaw satellite through VISP; these people are fantastic. I had many questions and they walked me through the entire process. Great people who know their stuff. The only time I had any contact with a Shaw rep, was during the actual install portion. Ryan at VISP took care of the rest. I highly recommend VISP for both internet and satellite hookup.

VISP has been my internet provider for a year and a half. Being rural, my options have mostly been wireless and satellite, and I’ve had them all. VISP has been a breath of fresh air, bringing better speeds than ever, and delivering them consistently, every day and at all times of the day. Service issues have been minimal, mostly consisting of one service call to re aim an antenna that got moved by a massive windstorm. It was looked after promptly and properly, with excellent followup. My company, SolutionsIT uses VISP and has experienced the same. Better performance than wired connections, and excellent service response.

When we were with another internet provider, we were constantly having issues with getting kicked off the internet. We would have to contact their tech support once or twice a week to see why but were always told it was our computer and not them. Since we've switched to VISP, we have NEVER had these issues and we haven't changed anything on our computer. Having just moved to the Pembina Valley in Manitoba less than a year ago, but needing the internet right away, we tried 2 different providers. NONE of them could meet our needs, as we only experienced call after call to tech support for nothing but connection troubles. One provider was called 11 times, as our internet was down more than it was working!! After hearing about VISP we decided to give that a try. They were friendly, and fast, they were in and out of the house with everything hooked up in under an hour. That was approximately 6 months ago and I have not had to call tech support once, in fact, our internet has never gone out or given us issues and the speed is very good in comparison.

If we report an issue, VISP searches for a solution and a technician checks back with us either via phone or e-mail in a timely manner to ensure the issue is resolved. #4. Domo Gas Mart has been extremely satisfied with our switch from another provider, we no longer have slow internet service certain time's of the day. We use our computers a lot for shipping packages in the courier part of our business, it never seams to fail. When we were with the other provider it seemed to be slowing us down. The other thing that I appreciate more than anything is their customer service, when I call I can talk to someone and if they are all busy they call me back asap and fix whatever is needed.
